Take action!
PROTECT OUR ELECTIONS AND ENCOURAGE LOCAL & STATE OFFICIALS TO DISBAND COUNTY-WIDE VOTING.
The problem: county-wide Voting System is not in compliance with the law.
County-wide voting system does not respect the secrecy of the ballot And fails to comply with TX Election Code 122.001 and federal statutes mandating auditability, ballot secrecy and Public Information Access.
Countywide Voting is a flawed system and should be replaced by in-precinct voting by combining precincts into a polling location.
SB 924 removed the rights of large counties to COMBINE precinct polling locations. The Law is unconstitutional and prevents large counties from complying with BOTH state and federal law.
The solution: In-Precinct Voting System combining precincts under a polling place.
We must immediately urge all counties using the CWPPP to adopt COMBINED PRECINCT voting (multiple precincts in a given polling location) in time for the November 2024 General Election. This is a required step in order to restore AUDITABILITY, BALLOT ANONYMITY, and ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECORDS.

to achieve this in large counties, SB 924 needs to be CHALLENGED THROUGH NONCOMPLIANCE.
What can you do to help? urge Attorney General Ken Paxton to take action.
urge Attorney General Ken Paxton to issue an opinion to recommend that the recent modifications of the Texas Election Code made by SB 924 be CHALLENGED THROUGH NONCOMPLIANCE.

Subject: SB 924 to be CHALLENGED through NONCOMPLIANCE
Email body:
Attorney General Paxton,
SB 924 removed the rights of large counties to COMBINE precinct polling locations, effectively trapping many large counties in the COUNTYWIDE POLLING PLACE PROGRAM (CWPPP)! The Law is unconstitutional and prevents large counties from complying with BOTH state and federal statutes mandating auditability, ballot secrecy and Public Information Access.
We urge you to issue an opinion to recommend that the recent modifications of the Texas Election Code made by SB 924 be CHALLENGED THROUGH NONCOMPLIANCE.
We must immediately urge all counties using the CWPPP to order IN-PRECINCT voting or COMBINED PRECINCT voting (multiple precincts in a given polling location) in time for the November 2024 General Election. This is a required step in order to restore AUDITABILITY, BALLOT ANONYMITY, and ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECORDS.
AG Paxton, we are counting on YOU to restore integrity to our elections, and for all future ballots to be made anonymous, cast by precinct, and available unredacted to the public immediately after the November 2024 General Election.
Looking forward to a fast resolution on this matter,
