Volunteer deputy registrar

Volunteer Deputy Registrars are entrusted with the responsibility of officially registering voters in the State of Texas. They are appointed by county voter registrars and charged with helping increase voter registration in the state.

In order to become a Volunteer Deputy Registrar, you will need to pass an exam. Below you can find the training materials, a sample of the exam, and the link to the Tarrant County Elections Administration Office scheduling system, where you will need to schedule your appointment to take the exam.
