No School Choice
The Problem: Senate bill 2 (SB2) neither help school choice nor public schools.
Texas Legislators DO NOT understand what Texas Parents want from School Choice and are pushing for laws that not only take funding from Public Schools, but also only benefit less than 2% of Texas Students while benefitting Private interests and expands our Government unnecessarily.

Texans parents want either public education to improve and to spend their own money on their child’s education as they choose, whether it’s public, charter, private, or home school.
THIS BILL (SB2) DOES NOT FUNCTION LIKE THAT and WILL NOT ENABLE YOU TO DO THAT.
SB2 IS FULL OF BIG PROBLEMS!
Creates 1 billion in spending and benefits 1,5% of Texas Students.
It Grows Government & Private interests.
It’s not fiscally responsible.
It requires strings (assessments).
It’s not Universal, it is a LOTTERY.
It does not protect religious freedom.
What can you do to help? Senate Bill 2 is headed to the Education Committee on 1/28/25, & Senators need to hear from you NOW! Contact your senators by phone or email now!

Don’t let them discourage you. It is doable and we can do it in time for the November Elections.
The Nay Sayers may tell you it’s going to cost too much. The cost of elections doesn’t change because more than 2 precincts can be combined per Polling location. The county will save money on investing in machines, maintenance, storage and software updates.
